Who We Are

About

iRead To Live Initiative is a higher education policy think tank founded in 2012. Originally established to promote educational access for underserved communities, the organization has undergone a deliberate repositioning as a dedicated research institution focused on the student-facing dimensions of Nigeria’s higher education crisis.

Our Mission

To produce independent, evidence-based research and advance policy reform across four focal areas: university admissions and access, student affairs and campus welfare, financial aid and education financing, and career development and graduate outcomes.

Our Vision

A higher education system in which every student who qualifies for university admission can access it, afford it, thrive within it, and graduate into meaningful economic opportunity.

Our Framework

The Governance Symmetry Model

Our research is anchored in the Governance Symmetry Model, an original theoretical framework that diagnoses the accountability gaps in higher education governance architecture. All iRead To Live research is designed to speak with equal authority to academic audiences, regulatory agencies, and the public.

We work in partnership with academic institutions, civil society organizations, and international research networks to produce research that matters for policy.
