With the growing population of Nigeria estimated at 226,184 946, combined with the strength of its youths, their innovations, and their pursuit of excellence, there is no better time than now to chart a sustainable path and home-grown initiatives towards building credible and reliable tertiary institutions for lifelong learning purposes. The current state of higher education in Nigeria calls for urgent intervention as the world gradually shifts its focus to the African continent to leverage the skills, potential, creativity, and limitless innovations and use of technologies by the African Youths. Hence, Nigeria cannot afford to fold its arms without investing in higher education in Nigeria.
